From the hands of Danish audio legend Ole Møller, comes the CSA-150, the latest top-of-the-line integrated amplifier in the CSA series. This hybrid integrated combines the power and efficiency of solid state class A/B amplifier design with the excellent sound properties of vacuum tube technology. With 150 watts per channel, the Copland CSA-150 will drive almost any speaker.
The classic looks may deceive, but don’t be fooled. This is a contemporary amplifier for the modern audiophile and music enthusiast. It comes with four line-level inputs for your analog sources, three single-ended and one balanced. It has a dedicated input for a turntable with built-in phono stage for moving magnet type phono cartridges. A single-ended pre-out is also available, should you find yourself in the unlikely situation of needing an external power amp. The Copland CSA-150 also includes a range of digital inputs. There’s two optical TosLink inputs and a coaxial S/PDIF. It even has a USB for connecting to a computer based source, with support for up to 384kHz PCM and DSD128. The digital to analog conversion stage is based on a 32 bit, reference ES9018 DAC from ESS Technology.
Other highlights include an Alps Bluet Velvet volume control, a high-quality headphone output on the front and a classic tape loop in/out function. The Copland CSA150 can be factory fitted with an aptX Bluetooth module.
