The 2MR series are specially designed for turntables and tonearms like Rega, matching their requirement for low formfactor cartridges. The cartridges fit onto the tonearm without need for spacers or other modifications.
The natural step up from the 2M Red, and a remarkably detailed, high resolution phono cartridge. The 2M Blue delivers loads of dynamics, lush highs and an authentic soundstage. At a bit more than twice the price of the 2M Red, the Blue is a quite larger expense. Rest assured though, that you will be rewarded! When the times comes to exchange the stylus, you have the option of upgrading to an even better one, as the 2M series styli are interchangeable.
The eye-catching appearance of the 2M series from Ortofon, is designed by Danish company Møller Jensen Design. So not only do you get a magnificent phono cartridge, you also get the bragging rights that come with owning a piece of Danish design.
