Ortofon OM 5E
Entryl-level, moving magnet type phono cartridge
The OM series from Ortofon have been designed with versatility in mind. They fit most turntables and tonearms, and even come with a weight inset that can be removed, to halve the weight from 5 to 2.5 grams, when used with low-mass tonearms. The OM 5E model comes with an elliptical shaped stylus that, compared to the spherical types, are a bit more precise, reading the records groove.
