With the Yamaha MusicCast 200, also bearing the less catchy name TSX-N237D, you get an all-in-one solution for playing music from a wide range of sources. The system integrates both amplifier, streamer, CD player and speakers in one and the same device, for user-friendly operation and a design that easily integrates into an office, living room, bedroom. With Yamaha's MusicCast streaming platform, the MusicCast 200 can be part of a multi-room system.
Versatile features on the MusicCast 200
There's almost nothing this all-in-one system can't do when it comes to playing music. As I said, you get MusicCast, which is the link for many streaming services for music, including Spotify, Deezer, Tidal and Qobuz. Additionally, it is possible to play music stored on a network hard drive or a USB stick which connects directly to the MusicCast 200. There’s also radio on board , in fact in three variants; FM, DAB and internet radio. For local, wireless streaming, you can connect your smart device via Bluetooth or Apple AirPlay 2 and transmit the sound wirelessly to the system. CDs can also be played on the MusicCast 200, thankts to a slot-in drive on the front. It is also possible to connect other sources via the 3.5mm input on the back.

The Yamaha MusicCast 200 is ideal for rooms where you want good sound from a compact system, and not necessarily just the living room. In the bedroom, it can provide music, but also be your alarm clock as it has a built-in alarm function and a large display with a clock. In addition, it also has Qi wireless charging on its top plate, so you can park your smartphone for the night and wake up to sweet music and a freshly charged device. In terms of functionality, most functions can be operated using the free MusicCast app for iOS and Android, but a regular remote control is also included in the box, so you always have access to adjusting the volume, selecting the source, etc. It is also possible to operate the system using the touch panel on top of the device.
This Yamaha music system is equipped in a stereo configuration with 2 x 8cm bass-midrange and 2 x 2.5cm treble units, and DSP-optimized with Yamaha True Sound for the best possible sound quality. Each pair of drivers is powered by a 25 watt amplifier. Yamaha MusicCast 200 can connect to your network wirelessly via Wi-Fi or via a standard network cable.
