iFi Audio PowerStation
Mains bar, power filter, and surge protection device
With PowerStation, you can enhance the performance and sound quality of your system while also ensuring that your equipment is protected from damage due to lightning strikes or power surges. The protection works up to 30,000A at 1,000v/10uS. It utilizes iFi's active noise reduction filter, which operates across the entire frequency range. In addition to the active filter, there are also passive filters on each outlet in the strip. Each outlet is independently isolated in its own chamber to prevent the ingress and egress of electrical noise that could negatively impact sound quality. All outlets are wired with PurCopper, an oxygen-free, ultra-pure type of copper in a heavy-duty 13 AWG version.
The iFi Audio PowerStation includes built-in detection for ground and polarity, which, when absent, could be the cause of humming or buzzing sounds. The AC iPurifier LED indicators, mounted at the end of the strip, show the status of both ground and polarity, lighting green when correctly connected. With **Intelligent Ground**, the PowerStation only provides a ground connection when your system requires it, ensuring you're protected against ground loops if part of your system is already grounded. You can also use the iFi Audio AC iPurifier with the PowerStation, such as between digital and analog connections, for even better noise elimination.
