SilentPower LAN iPurifier Pro
Ethernet noise filter
You might not realize how much noise is passed from your router to your audio streamer via the Ethernet cable – but it's quite a lot and quite harmful to the sound quality of your system.
The noise doesn't directly affect the bits that come through, but it interferes with the streamer's electrical circuitry, reducing the precision of the digital processing. That's why Silent Power has developed the LAN iPurifier Pro, which creates a galvanic separation between the router and the streamer by converting the digital signal from being electrically carried to being purely optical without any electrical connection. This way, noise from the router physically cannot reach the streamer.
But that’s not all, because in the conversion from an electrical to an optical signal, the stream of bits is regenerated in an advanced system, which reduces jitter and thus makes it easier for the streamer's electronics to decode the signal when delivered. The experience when the LAN iPurifier Pro is in use is that the music sounds more controlled, the bass becomes deeper and more distinct, and the various tonal colors and nuances stand out more clearly as distinct tones. We can therefore highly recommend it to you if you have a good streamer and want a solid improvement without having to replace anything else.
