Core 200 series custom install speaker for in-ceiling mounting
Monitor Audio, one of the world's largest speaker manufacturers, of course also offers a comprehensive range of custom install speakers for both in-wall and in-ceiling mounting. The Core series is their most versatile and the wide range has a speaker for every need. The Core series is available in three different price and quality classes, so regardless of the level of ambition, there is also a speaker that will meet your needs. The series is available for both in-ceiling and in-wall installation.
The Core 200 series are a bit more expensive compared to the Core 100 series, but offers an equivalent step up in sound quality. The speakers are equipped with drivers of the same basic construction and materials that you find in the larger Hi-Fi speakers from Monitor Audio. The bass and midrange drivers in the Core 200 series are the C-CAM type, made from ceramic coated aluminum. It’s a light, fast and precise design, and combined with the high-performance C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter, you get a lot of quality for your hard earned money. If you want to combine custom install speakers with regular stand mount or floor standing speakers, for example in a multi-channel setup, the Core 200 series integrate well with Monitor Audio's Silver series.
Monitor Audio C265-FX is a 2-way design with a 6,5" mid-woofer and two fixed angle tweeters. Choice of dipole or bipole. The front of the speaker is completely flat so the speaker can be mounted almost flat with the ceiling. The grille can also be painted to match the color of the ceiling.
