Cambridge Audio AXC25
CD-player with gapless playback
While CD sales have been down for the last couple of years, there’s no denying its place in the world. Quality wise it’s superior to most streaming platforms and there’s a vast number of CD’s out there that can be had for very cheap. So why not embrace this excellent format and continue to enjoy the endless amounts of music that’s available, new or second-hand.
The Cambridge Audio AXC25 is an excellent CD player based on a Wolfson DAC. It only offers analog outputs, so if you’re looking for a CD player to hook up to an external DAC, you might want to look elsewhere. Its larger sibling, the AXC35 is identical to this one, but adds an S/PDIF digital output.
Plays standard compact discs and CD-R/CD-RW with MP3 and WMA
Comes with remote control and pairs perfectly with the AXA25 amplifier.
