Cambridge Audio AXC35
CD-player with gapless playback and S/PDIF output
While CD sales have been down for the last couple of years, there’s no denying its place in the world. Quality wise it’s superior to most streaming platforms and there’s a vast number of CD’s out there that can be had for very cheap. So why not embrace this excellent format and continue to enjoy the endless amounts of music that’s available, new or second-hand.
The Cambridge Audio AXC35 is an excellent CD player based on a Wolfson DAC. It offers analog as well as digital outputs, so if you’re looking for a CD player to hook up to an external DAC, this could be a contender. If you don't need the digital output, you might as well save the money and go with the otherwise identical AXC25.
Plays standard compact discs and CD-R/CD-RW with MP3 and WMA
Comes with remote control and pairs perfectly with the AXA25 or AXA35 amplifier.
