The Cambridge Audio Evo One allows you to fill the entire room with sweet music or TV audio with just one single product. The speaker is built around the same concept as the integrated streaming amplifiers in the Evo series but combines the excellent streaming platform with no fewer than 14 separate speakers and 700 watts of power to keep them in check. The result is an impressive sound experience that fills the room and surrounds you with the music you love—all in a living room-friendly solution designed by the Red Dot award-winning designer, Ged Martin.

A Focus on Musical Enjoyment

The focus of this wireless speaker has been to deliver both the audio and visual experience expected from a modern hi-fi product, while also providing high user-friendliness that everyone can enjoy. Listening to music should be a pleasure, not a frustrating experience. Cambridge Audio's own streaming platform, StreamMagic, is the heart of Evo One, where you can find all your music. It offers access to a wide range of music streaming services including Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, and Qobuz. If you have invested in a Roon server to store your own music library, you'll be pleased to know that Cambridge Audio has also ensured that the Evo One is Roon Ready certified. Additionally, you'll have a variety of wireless connectivity options to stream from your smart devices via Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2, and Google Cast.

Connect Your TV, Turntable, and Even a CD Player to the Evo One

Streaming is, of course, just one part of the Cambridge Audio Evo One. This impressive wireless speaker also offers the ability to connect external sources via cable. One of the popular options is HDMI with ARC, which allows you to send sound from your TV directly to the speaker with a single cable. Just imagine the difference between the sound from your flat-screen's slim speakers and the 14 speakers and 700-watt amplifier of the Evo One. However, HDMI is just one of the options. This active speaker also allows for turntable connectivity, so you can enjoy your vinyl records at a high level. The built-in phono preamp supports MM-type cartridges, so you don't need to invest in an external phono preamp. If you already have a phono preamp for your turntable or the turntable has one built-in, you can instead use the standard RCA line input on the Evo One. There are also two digital connection options: an optical TosLink input that can, for example, be used with a CD player. A USB input offers the possibility to connect a hard drive with music.

The minimalist, retro-modern aesthetic, designed in London by Red Dot award winner Ged Martin, is unmistakably part of the popular Evo family, with clean lines and a luxurious, timeless feel. The top is covered with genuine, FSC-certified walnut veneer, and the lightly textured, acoustically transparent front fabric hides the many drivers without compromising what matters: sound quality. The front is equipped with a 6.8” color display that shows information about the selected input, the music playing, and provides user-friendly access to the many settings options. A remote control is included with the Evo One, and it can also be operated via the StreamMagic app, available for iPhone and Android devices.
