Micro-sized speaker for discrete installations
The small cabinet measuring only 10 cm on each side contains a 3" mid / woofer driver at the front, and a 3/4" tweeter located on the back. The tuning of the two drivers relative to each other, makes the level of the tweeter sound right when the speaker is mounted on the wall.
Monitor Audio has seen great success with previous Radius HD series, with massive sales figures and numerous reviews with top marks - including an Eisa award. Now the series is updated with better performance and design. The names are simplified and the series is now simply called Radius, which very well reflects products stylistic expression: Simplicity. Radius loudspeakers are designed from an idea that the speakers should look like what they are - speakers - but smaller and nicer than most others.
Where most competitors of similar sized and priced speakers use plastic, aluminum or other "modern" materials, usually to the detriment of sound quality, the Radius series are made from wood, like any other serious speaker.
