Compact integrated amplifier with Bluetooth
The second generation of Tangent's compact amplifier has been improved in several areas, offering great sound at a very affordable price. When paired with a set of compact speakers, the Ampster BT II delivers quality music. With 50 watts of power per channel, it has plenty of headroom, and considering its size and price, there isn't much to criticize about this little amplifier.
The Tangent Ampster BT II features a pair of analog RCA inputs for connecting an external source. You can connect a turntable (though this requires a RIAA amplifier or a turntable with one built-in) or your TV. There’s also a 3.5mm AUX input, which can be used to connect an iPod, phone, or other music player. You can even charge your iPod or music player using the USB output on the back of the Ampster BT II. An optical TosLink input is also available, allowing you to connect a CD player or your TV while keeping the signal digital from the source to the amplifier for the best possible sound.
This latest version of the compact amplifier also includes Bluetooth, enabling you to stream audio directly from your phone, tablet, or computer. A subwoofer output allows for connecting an active subwoofer to complement a set of compact speakers if you feel it's necessary. A remote control is included with the amplifier, which can also operate both the Tangent Tuner II and Tangent CD II devices that pair perfectly with the Ampster BT II.
