Roksan Attessa Streaming
Stereo amplifier with DAC, BluOS streaming and phono stage
Roksan Attessa Streaming is part throwback to times where digital features were a lot more simple, which the design of the aluminum enclosure exudes. There are no over-the-top touch displays or an archaic LED display for that matter. Instead Roksan chose a simple but easily decipherable way to illustrate the active input and the volume level. A beautiful, tasteful amalgamation of technology, contemporary, futuristic with a retro touch.
With extensive streaming features onboard, thanks to the BluOS platform, you'll be able to stream audio from online services like Spotify, TIDAL and Qobuz and even thousands of free online radio stations. Local streaming is also possible. Playback, volume, etc. is controlled using the free BluOS app for iOS or Android. The amplifier does also come with a classic remote for controlling basic features.
The integrated amplifier, Roksan Attessa Streaming, is a beautiful and well equipped amplifier with built-in digital-to-analog converter, phono stage for moving magnet cartridges, and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. It offers 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms and a whopping 130 watts per channel into 4 ohms. In reality that's enough power to drive even large floor standing speakers, but it's the way the Attessa purveys this power, that really impresses. It offers a slick, organic but captivating, dynamic sound signature, with a lively low-end.
The DAC stage is developed by Roksan Audio and you can feed digital signals to the amplifier via a choice of two optical TosLink or two coaxial S/PDIF connectors. In addition the Attessa Streaming offers Bluetooth wireless connectivity, which is of course also takes advantage of the high-quality digital conversion stage. Digital audio sources are presented with great resolution, high precision and an airy soundstage.
For the analog connoisseurs there's a built-in phono stage compatible with MM cartridges, enabling direct injection to the powerful engine of the Roksan Attessa integrated amplifier with great timing, lots of control.
If you have no need for the streaming features, take a look at the Roksan Attessa Integrated, which is identical but lacking the streaming platform.
