The CXA81 MKII is the successor to the immensely popular CXA80 amplifier, that won numerous awards and impressed music lovers worldwide. This new iteration has been improved in a number of ways. It doesn’t matter if you prefer your sources digital over analog. Or even wired over wireless, or vice versa. The Cambridge Audio CXA81 MKII supports it all. It has four digital inputs, with two TosLink, one coaxial S/PDIF and a USB-B. The latter supports up to 384kHz/32-bit PCM and DSD256, while the TosLink maxes out at 96kHz/24-bit and the coaxial at 192kHz/24-bit. You'll also find four pairs of single-ended inputs and one pair balanced XLR.
The Cambridge Audio CXA81 MKII even offers wireless functionality, using Bluetooth. It supports SBC, aptX and aptX HD, enabling you to send any audio on your phone, tablet or computer, wirelessly to the CXA81 MKII.
An impressive amplifier that offers 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms (120 watts into 4 Ohms), which is sufficient to drive most speakers in this class, with headroom.
