Streaming Amplifier with HEOS

With the Model 60n, Marantz introduces the most affordable integrated amplifier with streaming capabilities in the new Model series. The Model 60n also becomes the first amplifier in the series to feature Roon Ready certification. This is a highly capable integrated amplifier, equipped with everything a modern music lover could need—whether you're into streaming, physical sources, or both.

An abundance of streaming features

With a comprehensive streaming platform via HEOS, the Marantz Model 60n is ready to deliver music from a wide range of services and network functions. It all happens in the HEOS app, available for iOS and Android. Here, you'll find services like Spotify, Deezer, and Tidal, each offering millions of albums accessible with a subscription. There’s also support for iHeartRadio and TuneIn, providing access to thousands of online radio stations from around the world—including Denmark. If you use a streaming service not supported by HEOS, like Apple Music, and have an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, you can stream music to the Model 60n via Apple AirPlay 2, directly to the amplifier. With Bluetooth, you can also stream audio from other devices. As the first amplifier in Marantz’s Model series, it is Roon Ready certified, allowing you to stream from a Roon Core on your network. This is definitely one of the best solutions if you have a large music library, both for cataloging and for sound quality.

Connect physical sources to the Marantz Model 60n

In addition to streaming features, it's also possible to connect physical sources to the Marantz Model 60n. The amplifier has three pairs of analog inputs, one of which can be used for a CD player with an analog connection. There’s also a dedicated turntable input that supports MM-type cartridges, eliminating the need for an external phono preamp between your turntable and the amplifier. For TV connection, you can use the HDMI input that supports ARC (Audio Return Channel), allowing sound from your TV to play through a proper set of speakers. Most TVs today support ARC, but check your own TV to confirm. The Model 60n also features two digital inputs—one coaxial and one optical TosLink. If you have a CD player, you can experiment to see if a digital connection offers any audio advantages over an analog connection. The TosLink input can also be used for your TV if HDMI is not an option, or if you prefer not to use it.

Amplifier with HDAM circuitry

The Marantz Model 60n is a Class A/B amplifier built with Marantz’s HDAM circuitry, featuring a large toroidal power supply and delivering 2 x 60 watts at 8 Ohms and 2 x 80 watts at 4 Ohms. Speaker connections are made via Marantz’s premium SPKT-1+ terminals, ensuring a solid connection between the amplifier and your speakers. In addition to speakers, you can also connect a set of headphones through the 6.3mm output on the front of the amplifier.
