Roksan Caspian 4G Streaming
Integrated Amplifier with BluOS Streaming
With the smaller Attessa Streaming amplifier, Roksan truly made its mark in the quest to deliver crisp, English audio to music lovers around the world. Now the time has come for the next generation of one of their most acclaimed series, Caspian, which impresses greatly with both sound and build quality in an exceptional class.
Built-in streaming, and physical inputs
The Roksan Caspian 4G Integrated is an extremely capable integrated amplifier, equipped with almost everything one might need in terms of inputs. It also comes with the very capable BluOS streaming platform, offering access to Tidal, Spotify, Qobuz and more, with a required subscription. The amplifier is also designed to be combined with one or more external sources, like a turntable. With a total of four digital inputs, distributed between 2 x coaxial S/PDIF and 2 x optical TosLink, there are ample options for connecting a CD player or other type of digital source. This could, for example, be the excellent Attessa CD Transport. The turntable can be connected directly to the amplifier without the need for an additional intermediary if you’re using an MM-type cartridge. The digital section is based on Roksan's Rapture DAC technology, which handles all incoming digital signals.
Made in the UK
The Caspian 4G Streaming is based on an entirely new Dual Mono Class A/B amplifier design that Roksan calls ‘Euphoria,’ which uses separate power supplies for the respective circuits to ensure minimal distortion across the entire frequency range. With an output of 105 watts per channel at 8 Ohms, and nearly doubling to 200 watts at 4 Ohms, the Roksan Caspian is capable of driving most speakers that one might consider pairing with an amplifier in this class. The Caspian series is built by Roksan in England and impresses with an incredibly high build quality and excellent user experience.
