Its internal architecture consists of a fully independent preamplifier section and two separate monobloc power amplifiers, essentially offering the performance of separate components within a single chassis. Despite its raw power, it maintains a smooth, elegant sonic signature characterized by effortless dynamics, a wide and immersive soundstage, and refined detail. Single-ended and balanced connections
The amplifier offers five inputs—four line-level and one balanced XLR—alongside both preamp and fixed line outputs. A home theatre bypass is also included, enhancing its system integration capabilities. Internally, the design is a true dual-mono configuration. Each power amplifier has its own transformer and dedicated heatsink, while the preamplifier has an independent power-supply winding. The five input sockets are mounted directly to the preamp PCB, eliminating the need for long signal cables and ensuring a minimal signal path and ultra-low impedance.
Exceptional performance
Every channel is equipped with 12 large bipolar transistors, making 200 amps of peak-to-peak current readily available. To maintain absolute precision at all listening levels, the M6si500 uses a digital volume control with laser-trimmed substrate resistors, delivering perfect channel tracking and responsiveness. All of this meticulous engineering results in exceptional technical performance. Harmonic distortion is remarkably low, measuring approximately 0.008% at 1kHz and 0.015% at 20kHz, with only a slight rise to 0.02% at very high frequencies between 30kHz and 50kHz.
The signal-to-noise ratio is impressively low, ensuring clarity and transparency even at high volumes. Constructed from premium materials, the M6si500 features a custom-extruded aluminium front panel made to military specifications, while the bespoke heatsinks combine excellent thermal performance with a refined finish.
