Chord Electronics Suzi
Stereo power amplifier
The Suzi Amp is a compact stereo power amplifier built around Chord Electronics’ advanced ULTIMA technology, delivering 30 watts per channel. It’s designed to work perfectly with the Suzi Pre preamplifier, or with the Hugo 2 DAC, with or without the 2go streamer, allowing you to create either a DAC-based amplifier or a full streaming amplifier setup.
Despite its small size, the Suzi Amp offers serious performance. It includes RCA inputs, 4 mm banana plug speaker outputs, and a removable solid aluminium top panel that reveals direct connection points for seamless integration with the Suzi Pre or Hugo 2. When combined with the Hugo 2 and the 2go streamer, the Suzi Amp becomes a fully featured streaming amplifier, supporting Roon Endpoint and DLNA/UPnP. The 2go also allows for up to 2 TB of built-in solid-state storage via its two MicroSD card slots.
On the front, multicolour buttons control power and the AV bypass function, while the ventilated case design ensures efficient cooling. A 12 V DC output is included for compatibility with other Chord Electronics products, and headphone pass-through outputs (3.5 mm and 6.35 mm) are available when the Suzi Amp is connected to the Suzi Pre or Hugo 2. For even greater flexibility, an optional USB multiplexer accessory can be connected to the Hugo 2’s dual Micro USB inputs, adding USB-B data inputs as well as USB-C for data and charging. The Hugo 2 automatically detects which input is active, making it easy to connect multiple sources at the same time.
