Rotel RC-1572 MKII
Balanced Preamplifier with Phono Stage, Bluetooth, and USB
You’ll be hard-pressed to find a preamplifier at this price point that is as seriously constructed as the RC-1572 MKII, while offering Bluetooth, a built-in DAC, digital inputs, and a quality phono stage. With balanced inputs and outputs and a high-quality chassis, you get tremendous value for what you pay.
A 32-bit Texas Instruments DAC ensures excellent handling of digital signals, which the preamplifier can receive via Bluetooth aptX, USB-B, or one of the two optical and two coaxial inputs on the back. Through the USB input, you can also play DSD files, allowing you to experience the best that the digital medium currently has to offer.
Many of the internal solutions are borrowed from Rotel's RC-1590 flagship model, including relay-based switches that improve the internal signal path. The large internal power supply ensures a stable voltage for the components, no matter the demand. This is serious engineering for a preamplifier in this price range!
