The built-in phono stage allows you to connect it to an amplifier or speakers without a phono input, or you can bypass the module and use your own RIAA preamp if preferred. The Thorens TD 201 offers an excellent entry-level turntable with an attractive finish, spring-mounted dust cover, and user-friendly operation – including mechanical switching between 33 and 45 RPM, so you don’t have to manually move the belt to another pulley.
