Turntable with built-in phono stage
The T2 Super Phono from Pro-Ject is a user-friendly, elegant and excellent sounding record player, built on Pro-ject's decades of experience in development and design. The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono is equipped with a higher quality built-in phono stage compared to the one fitted in the less expensive models. Should you at some point feel like experimenting with an external phono stage, it is possible to disable the built-in one.
9" tonearm and Hi-Fi quality cartridge
The Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono is fitted with a 9" long aluminum tonearm with integrated headshell. an interesting thing here is that the record player comes with a really good quality cartridge installed, namely a Sumiko Rainier which retails for approx. EUR 175. This means you’re guaranteed a very high performance level with this record player straight out of the box. The arm is fitted with a spring-based anti-skating system, which ensures high precision when the stylus has to track the groove of the vinyl record.
High precision for high performance
The turntable's plinth, or base, is fitted with vibration-absorbing feet that reduce external vibrations before they reach the turntable and end up as noise in your music. The plinth is mounted with a resonance-free 10mm thick platter made of glass, which rests on a steel/brass bearing that ensures a stable, precise rotation of the platter. The turntable can plays 33 as well as 45 RPM vinyl records, and the speed control is electronic so you don't have to worry about moving the drive belt.
A complete solution for vinyl playback
With the Pro-Ject T2 Super Phono you can attain a very high level of vinyl playback in a complete package. With the built-in phono stage, it can be connected directly to a line input of an amplifier or active speaker. The high-performance Sumiko Rainier pickup is fitted and adjusted from the factory, so you'll be enjoying the vinyl records within a very short time after unpacking.
