Pro-Ject Debut Pro S Balanced
Turntable with S-Shaped Tonearm
Pro-Ject continues its great success with the Debut Pro turntable and adds a truly elegant model with an S-shaped tonearm, equipped with an SME-type mount for easy and precise installation of a compatible cartridge or headshell. This latest version of the Debut Pro S offers balanced connection to a compatible phono pre-amplifier, via Mini XLR connectors. To take advantage of the true balanced connection, it also requires the use of a moving coil type cartridge.
Highlights of Pro-Ject Debut Pro S Balanced
- S-shaped tonearm with SME mount
- Electronic speed control
- VTA and azimuth adjustments
- Timeless design in quality materials
- True Balanced Mini XLR Connection
The Pro series from Pro-Ject is well-executed in every aspect—from design to construction and materials. The Debut Pro S is no exception, featuring high-quality materials like CNC-machined aluminum parts and a damped platter made of cast aluminum. The 10” tonearm, also made from aluminum, is a new model from Pro-Ject, allowing for VTA and azimuth adjustments, including height adjustments on the arm. The S-shape of the arm offers a higher mass density, which can be advantageous if you want to mount a heavier cartridge in the future. Speaking of cartridges, the Debut Pro S comes equipped with Pro-Ject's own Pick It S2 C, a high-quality MM cartridge.
Ready for 33 and 45 RPM records
The Pro-Ject Debut Pro S can play both 33 and 45 RPM vinyl records with its standard belt. The speed is easily switched with the push of a button. If you have shellac records, it can play those too. A special belt for 78 RPM records is included. However, a special cartridge is required, but thanks to the SME mount on the tonearm, switching between two different cartridges is incredibly easy and quick.
Simple and Elegant
With its clean lines, S-shaped tonearm, and matte black finish, the Pro-Ject Debut Pro S seamlessly fits into a modern décor. So even when you’re not playing records, you can still enjoy it—just with your eyes instead of your ears. An acrylic dust cover is included, which protects the turntable from dust and curious fingers/paws.
