A turntable is a very sensitive device. Not in a sense that it gets upset if you tease it, but in terms of picking up vibration. Vibrations can have many sources but most often come from loudspeakers - which provide feedback - and from footsteps on a wooden floor, or even a heavy truck driving past outside. It can be reduced by hanging the turntable on the shelf on the wall Rega Turntable Wall Bracket is designed specifically for Rega turntables and is made of rigid, laser cut aluminum. This new design follows Regas thesis that the lighter things are, the better. This new edition is 1.2kg lighter and is down to about 1000 grams.
The shelf fits Planar 1, Planar 2 and Planar 3. RP6, RP8 and RP10 can also fit on the shelf when purchasing adapter plates.
No assembly needed. Comes with basic mounting hardware, but please be aware that different types of structures require certain types of screws, etc.
