The signature version of iFI Audio’s desktop DAC skips the headphone outputs and fully embraces its main feature, digital-to-analog conversion. The simplified circuitry has made it possible for iFI Audio to upgrade critical components and improve, and shorten, the signal path. Building on the regular Zen DAC’s balanced design, the Signature edition takes it to the next level with true-differential balanced topology.
iFI Audio Zen DAC Signature V2 is the perfect way to get high-quality audio from your computer. The True Native Burr-Brown chipset ensures bit-perfect handling of PCM, DSD and even rendering of MQA audio files. The asynchronous USB input is based on an iFI Audio programmed XMOS chipset. The analog signal can be output via single-ended RCA or 4.4mm balanced Pentaconn. Both can be set to variable or fixed, making the Zen DAC Signature useful as both a DAC source, but also as a pre-amplifier.
