Eversolo made a bold entry into the Hi-Fi market with their affordable, feature-packed DMP-A6 streamer in late 2023. Since then, the brand has expanded its lineup, most recently with the extremely popular and award-winning DMP-A8.

With the DMP-A10, Eversolo raises the bar once again, stepping into a significantly higher tier than before. As of now, the DMP-A10 is Eversolo’s flagship model, packed with advanced technology, premium components, and top-tier functionality. Compared to its smaller siblings, including the DMP-A8, the DMP-A10 features substantial upgrades at the component level, such as advanced OCXO clocks operating at 45.1548MHz and 49.152MHz with a custom-developed temperature control system. This ensures extremely low phase noise and jitter levels under 50 femtoseconds.

Performance and Design Excellence

The DMP-A10 clearly retains Eversolo’s signature design, including key elements like the large touchscreen. However, it’s evident that the overall design and build quality have been elevated to deliver a user experience that matches its extraordinarily high sound quality. The robust chassis, in full 43cm Hi-Fi width, features CNC-machined details with impressively faceted accents, even on the front control dial. This sophisticated construction ensures that every aspect of the DMP-A10 feels as premium as its performance. A standout feature is the display integrated into the control dial, which dynamically changes its appearance based on the function being used—an innovative touch we haven’t seen before in this class.

Music from Every Source

The DMP-A10 is brimming with functionality, capable of streaming music from a wide variety of sources. Built-in support includes major platforms like Tidal, Qobuz, and Amazon Music, as well as less common ones like Germany’s Highresaudio and SoundCloud. If you have subscriptions to multiple services, you can search for an artist or album across all relevant platforms simultaneously, letting you choose the version you want to listen to. Additionally, TuneIn provides access to thousands of radio stations worldwide. Eversolo has promised to add more streaming services over time via updates.

List to Your Own Music Collection

If you prefer accessing your own music library, the DMP-A10 supports streaming from a network server using DLNA, Squeeze Connect, and UPnP protocols, allowing you to connect directly to your NAS and play its content. Moreover, the streamer is undergoing Roon certification, enabling seamless integration with the Roon ecosystem for enhanced user experience and streaming protocols. The DMP-A10 also supports the installation of up to two SSD drives, with capacities of up to 4TB each, offering ample space for even the largest music collections. Alternatively, external USB drives can be connected via the USB 3.0 port on the back. The streamer handles a wide range of file formats and qualities, including 768kHz PCM in 32-bit and DSD512, as well as SACD ISO files. For physical media enthusiasts, a USB-connected CD drive allows playback of audio CDs or copying them to the internal SSD. The streamer automatically retrieves album metadata and artwork, displayed on its large front touchscreen. Additionally, it features a built-in 10-band parametric equalizer, enabling precise adjustments to specific frequency ranges for improved sound quality in various scenarios.

User-Friendly Operation

The DMP-A10 offers multiple control options. The large touchscreen provides an intuitive interface for close-up operation, while remote control is available via two methods. A classic remote with both infrared and Bluetooth is included, featuring an upgraded design compared to those for smaller models. Alternatively, the Eversolo app is available for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. When using the DMP-A10 with Roon, it can also be controlled through Roon’s apps. If the DMP-A10 is used as a preamp with a connected power amplifier, the devices can be linked via a 3.5mm trigger cable, allowing both to power on simultaneously using the Eversolo remote.
