HiFi Rose is known for creating some of the most beautifully designed and solidly built products on the market, and the RS451 is no exception. Its 8.8” high-resolution touchscreen on the front puts all features right at your fingertips, giving you effortless access to streaming services and apps. You can even watch music videos directly on the screen via the RoseTube app. To the left, you’ll find premium headphone outputs with options for 6.3mm, XLR, and balanced 4.4mm connections – all offering world-class amplification. The RS451 is not just a joy to listen to, but also a delight to look at and operate, with every detail radiating quality.

Designed for Head-Fi enthusiasts

The headphone section has been engineered with true enthusiasts in mind. This is a serious amplifier, capable of driving even the most demanding headphones with ease. Built around four parallel amplifier circuits, it delivers stable, high-quality power and can comfortably handle headphones over 600 Ohms. Inside, two dedicated ES9027PRO DAC chipsets from ESS handle the digital-to-analog conversion – one reserved for the preamp outputs, the other for the headphone stage. Each has its own power supply to minimize noise and maximize performance.

Lots of streaming features

When it comes to streaming, the RS451 covers it all. It supports major music services such as Tidal, Qobuz, and Apple Music*, and additional apps can be installed via the RoseStore. Certified as Roon Ready, it integrates seamlessly into any Roon setup. Wireless playback is also easy with Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay, and DLNA/UPnP. High-resolution audio is fully supported, with playback up to DSD512 and PCM 32-bit/768kHz. The advanced Rose DPC module can even upscale PCM to DSD512. For the most stable performance, a wired network connection is recommended, but Wi-Fi is available via the included USB dongle.

Powerful hardware

Powerful hardware ensures smooth performance, even with demanding formats like DSD and 4K video. An advanced 8-core processor delivers four times the data processing and eight times the graphics power compared to its predecessor, while memory has been doubled to 8GB and system storage increased to 32GB, with twice the speed.

Also acts as a highly capable pre-amplifier

The RS451 is also a highly capable preamplifier, offering extensive connectivity for external sources. You’ll find optical and coaxial S/PDIF inputs, HDMI with ARC for your TV, and asynchronous USB-B for PC or Mac. Analog RCA inputs allow connection of a turntable with a phono stage. Three USB-A ports let you connect external drives with music, and if you add a CD drive such as the HiFi Rose RSA780, you can rip CDs directly. You can even install a 2.5” SATA SSD inside for extra storage. On the output side, the RS451 provides both single-ended RCA and balanced XLR analog outputs, plus digital coaxial, TosLink, and HDMI outputs.

Control is effortless with the Rose Connect app for Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows. A beautifully designed remote control is also included for quick access to the essential functions.
