If you're setting up a surround system, you can easily pair it with the dedicated Dolby Atmos modules, which fit perfectly on top of the Silver 300 7G. The speaker is equipped with newly developed outrigger feet, originally designed for the current Gold series, ensuring stability and optimal decoupling regardless of whether it's placed on hardwood floors or soft carpeting. A black, magnet-mounted grille is also included.
Newly developed C-CAM tweeter
The Monitor Audio Silver 300 7G features a 3-way design with the newly developed C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter and Uniform Dispersion Waveguide II. The ceramic-coated aluminum tweeter delivers precise and highly detailed high frequencies, ensuring that every nuance is captured—whether you’re rediscovering a favorite album, immersing yourself in a game, or getting lost in the latest blockbuster film.
RST II technology for reduced distortion and increased precision
Beneath the tweeter lies another proprietary Monitor Audio technology: the legendary C-CAM RST II 3-inch bass/midrange driver, housed in the same module as the tweeter. The 3-way design also includes two dedicated 6-inch bass drivers. All C-CAM drivers are made from an aluminum-magnesium composite, finished with a ceramic coating. If you look closely, you might notice the small indentations on the diaphragm. This Rigid Surface Technology was initially developed for the C-CAM drivers in the fourth generation of the Silver series but has now been refined. Instead of round indentations, the new design features hexagonal patterns that further reinforce the diaphragm. This is the essence of RST II technology, inspired by Japanese origami. The stiffer the diaphragm, the lighter the material that can be used in its construction. With less mass for the driver’s motor to move, precision and speed are enhanced while distortion is minimized.
