The KEF KC62 is a compact subwoofer that offers the performance of much larger sub audio systems, thanks to ingenious technologies like Uni-Core. The innovative driver technology is a brand-new take on the traditional force cancelling arrangements. It delivers ultra-compact size and huge performance.
The 6.5" drivers have also been redesigned and now come with KEF’s latest driver surround, the origami inspired P-Flex. This unique design is engineered to better resist the acoustic pressure in the cabinet, without adding extra weight to the driver, resulting in much better dynamics, faster and better bass.
The in-house designed Music Integrity Engine is finetuned by a selection of DSP algorithms, including iBX, or Intelligent Bass Extension, with Smart Limiter. It constantly monitors and analyses the signal to prevent clipping. KEF KC62 is the obvious choice for owners of KEF speakers, but should definitely be considered a contender, for anyone looking to add a little oomph to their audio system.
