The Vestra series is an extension of Monitor Audio’s Anthra subwoofer range but offered at a more accessible price point. However, that doesn’t mean you have to lower your expectations when it comes to design or sound. Within its price range, Vestra is the ultimate choice—crafted by a company that has been producing Hi-Fi and high-end speakers for over 50 years.
Monitor Audio is renowned for its use of specialized C-CAM drivers, and of course, you’ll find them in the Vestra subwoofers as well. With exceptional rigidity and low weight, the ceramic-coated aluminum-magnesium drivers are capable of delivering lightning-fast, precise, and punchy bass with low distortion. The series includes three different subwoofer sizes—10”, 12”, and 15”—designed to complement any sound system, regardless of brand. All models feature long-throw C-CAM drivers, with the two larger models equipped with triple suspension systems.
The Vestra cabinets are heavily reinforced to keep the drivers under tight control, even at extreme excursions. The construction uses 15mm thick MDF with a 21mm thick front baffle and internal bracing to ensure high stability. The W10 and W12 models use a sealed cabinet design, while the largest model, the W15, features a bass reflex port to extend the low-end frequency range. If you’re after the ultimate low-end punch, that’s the one to go for.
