What is the purpose of collecting data?

We need your name and address to be able to deliver the products you have ordered from us. Your e-mail and phone number are used if we for some reason need to get in touch with you about your order. This information is registered in our POS-system and printed on your invoice. This to ensure that we can solve future warranty issues, should any arise, and verify that the product has been purchased from us. If you decide to sign up for our newsletter, your e-mail address will be used for targeted advertising across platforms, including via e-mail. We are bound by and live up to Danish consumer and data protection laws and by shopping on our website you agree to us handling your data. It is not possible to shop on our website without supplying this information. We need to know where to send your items and your payment details are verified against your supplied information.

When signing up for our newsletter, the data you supply (e-mail address, name, last name, country) will be stored on US based servers.

For how long do you keep this data?

It is optional to create a user profile on our website. The user profile is deleted within one (1) year if no activity or use is registered. The profile cannot be recreated. If you wish to keep your user profile you will have to log in on our website at least once a year. Orders created in our online sales system are anonymized after two years, regardless of these being connected to a user profile or not. Invoices in our POS-system are kept for five (5) years from the end of the fiscal year in which the order was placed.

To be able to handle your request we need to collect and handle the data you supply. Usually this is limited to e-mail address and name.

Third party handling of data

KC Audio Aps uses external data processors to handle customer inquiries via e-mail and/or social media channels. Your information is used solely for the purpose of answering your inquiry.

Sharing of data

KC Audio ApS reserves the right to share data within the company between trusted employees, to be able to handle your inquiry in the best possible way.

Transfer of data to data processors in countries outside of Denmark

Our data processor and provider of e-mail services uses servers physically located in Denmark. Our data processor and CRM service provider uses servers located in the EU as well as outside of the EU, including the United States of America under the Privacy Shield frameworks.
