The Isis from Van Den Hul is specifically designed for use with turntables and comes with a ground wire connection. Most turntables need this to eliminate hum. A lot of turntables come with less-than-ideal cables that should be considered a temporary solution, and the Van Den Hul The Isis is an excellent upgrade in those circumstances.
