The 'Plus' edition of WiiM's popular audio streaming solution offers a range of upgrades to improve audio quality. A new Texas Instruments Burr-Brown PCM1861 ADC provides high-quality analog to digital conversion from analog sources like turntables. The DAC section has also received an upgrade with a high-performance AKM 4493SEQ chipset from Asahi Kasei, dramatically improving the audio quality from the analog line-out ouputs. Using an upgraded ultra-low noise clock, power supply and PCB layout, it achieves less than -110dB THD+N for the analog outputs.
