Dynaudio Emit 50
Full-grown floorstanding speaker
If you’re looking to invest in a pair of Emit speakers and want the absolute pinnacle of that series, there’s no way around the Dynaudio Emit 50. The Emit 50 is a full-grown three-way speaker equipped with dual 18cm dedicated woofers, a 15cm midrange driver, and, of course, the impressive Cerotar tweeter with a Hexis dome. The true midrange utilizes a lightweight voice coil and responds exceptionally quickly to music signals, providing a clean and precise rendition. The dual 18cm woofers support the midrange and dig deep into the lower frequency range with immense control.
Dynaudio Emit 50 is the obvious choice in this series for rooms of 15 to 30 sqm. We recommend an amplifier delivering 50 to 250 watts of power to get the best performance from the Emit 50. The speaker rests securely on outrigger feet taken directly from the Evoke 50 speaker.
The best Emit series speakers from Dynaudio to date
Dynaudio has always had a robust selection of budget-friendly speakers, and the 2021 Emit series are taking performance and design to the next level. With an incredible amount of experience and knowledge gained since the inception of the first Emit series back in 2016, Dynaudio’s most affordable range is better than ever! The Emit series has received the same attention to detail in development as the Evoke series, with measurements performed in Dynaudio’s state-of-the-art test facility in Skanderborg, Denmark.
“The beauty of working on a speaker like Emit is that we can use all the trickle-down technology we invented for our most premium speakers. It’s the same men and women working on all the products, so we know exactly how to bring that calibre of performance to people taking their first steps in real high-end hi-fi”

Minimalistic Scandinavian Design
Dynaudio is aware that speaker design is just as important as audio performance to the vast majority of contemporary music lovers and audiophiles. Inspired by Scandinavian design traditions with clean lines, minimalism, and simplicity, the Emit series is best described as being simply elegant. Completely free from superfluous design elements that add nothing of value to its performance or looks, the Dynaudio Emit series is a purebred purveyor of audio that will blend seamlessly with most modern interior designs. The Dynaudio Emit series comes in a choice of three finishes. Matte white or black goes with everything and a beautiful walnut that will perfectly complement a glass of cognac, a fireplace, and John Coltrane’s discography on repeat. The baffle of the Emit speakers is completely clean, without any visible screws or bolts. If you’re looking to keep it completely low-key, simply place the magnetically attached front grille to the baffle. World-class speaker development and decades of celebrated design traditions go hand-in-hand in the best-ever, budget-oriented speaker range from Dynaudio.
Newly developed MSP drivers
The 2021 Emit series have received upgrades inside and out. The enhancements also include the speaker drivers that have been significantly improved, inspired by the recent high-end speakers from Dynaudio. The proprietary MSP cone drivers are taken directly from the much-lauded Evoke and Contour series and are the precise combination of geometry, stiffness, and thickness. The result is fewer resonances and improved control of the ones that are there. The sound is less colored and much more authentic. Each woofer and mid driver are powered by a dual-stack strontium carbonite Ferrit+ ceramic system. It focuses and increases the strength of the magnetic field around the voice coil, increasing the motor power. It improves efficiency, and the voice coil will move the cone with greater authority. To achieve low air compression under the MSP cone, the magnet makes use of a flared ventilation. The voice coils for the midrange and mid/woofer are made from lightweight aluminum wire with a thin layer of copper. The reduced weight enables the coil to move faster and more precisely. The dedicated woofers in the Emit 50 speaker utilize a pure copper voice coil optimized for improved power handling and longer strokes.
The incredible Cerotar tweeter, Flared port, and hybrid crossover
The tweeter has also been upgraded for this new version of the Emit series speakers. This series utilizes the revolutionary Cerotar tweeter from the Evoke series, with DSR (Dynaudio Secret Recipe) coating and the brilliant Hexis dome to boot. The Hexis sits just behind the soft dome diaphragm and works in conjunction with the throat of the magnet to allow sound to pass through to the back-chamber, eliminating unwanted resonances, providing smoothed-out frequency response.
Another new addition to the latest revision of the Emit series is the dual flared ports. The ports are mounted on the back of the speakers minimizing the coloration of sound coming through the port. It has a dual-flared design to reduce air turbulence and unwanted chuffing, especially in the lower frequency range.
Dynaudio has developed a hybrid crossover that combines first, second and fourth-order topology for the tweeter, mid/woofer, and woofer to provide exceptional control of each driver. The crossover has been optimized through extensive listening tests and measurements in the state-of-the-art Jupiter facility. Measurements aid the engineers in getting the crossover point between the drives just right, improving sound dispersion and timing.
Recommended accessories for Dynaudio Emit speakers
Dynaudio Emit 10 and Emit 20 can be used with the Dynaudio Stand 10 speaker stand. It puts the speaker at the correct height for optimal performance and sound. If placed on a table or TV furniture, we recommend the use of Dynaudio SF1 to reduce the chance of reflected soundwaves from the surface. A high-quality speaker needs a decent speaker cable. You’ll find a selection of speaker cables here.
